Chicken Little: Ace in Action - Review

Chicken Little: Ace in Action
Ages:

Those who saw the Chicken Little movie will remember that at the end there was a "movie within the movie", where Chicken Little becomes a superhero. Taking off from that, Chicken Little: Ace in Action features Ace, the super hero alter ego of Chicken Little, and his misfit band of friends: Runt, Abby and Fish Out of Water. This ia a gang on mega steroids. The crew traveling in their spaceship, face-off with Foxy Loxy and Goosey Loosey, and in the ensuing battle, find themselves in the orbit of Venus, where they have to destroy a facility that is producing a droid army. Then on to Europa to take out more baddies. If you do Europa, you have to do Io, where you must destroy the Gravity Generator Facility, then on to the Asteroid Belt and the Poke Star for more of the same. Do not be surprised if it starts feeling like Star Wars.

I always judge how much fighting a game contains by the number of weapons you can level-up to. Here I was aced-out. Here each character gets one weapon but many different kinds of ammo. Oh well. It's all fighting and maze walking. Directional movess use the control pad and the lettered buttons. The action takes place on the top screen. The touch screen is passively used to show game statistics. I want my old Chicken Little back.
