Elebits - The Adventures of Kai and Zero - Review

Elebits - The Adventures of Kai and Zero
Ages: Everyone

The Elebits - those elusive packets of energy are back and with their help they will take you into strange and engrossing adventures. You begin, playing in an abandoned bus when suddenly you are whooshed away into an Elebit Forest.

The game is to ensnare as many Elebits as possible so that your buddy Zero can capture them and then use them to get and power Omegas with their special abilities to solve puzzles, get past obstacles and fight boss battles. With their help you can explore a mine, a world of ice, play with mirrors, even go whirlpool diving.

The basic action is simple - solving the puzzles require thinking out of the box. The clues are there, and when solved you wonder how you could have been so dumb. Getting the first Omegas - Fire, Ice are pretty easy and they are very essential to progressing through the worlds, but that's just the beginning and you will need to use all their skills. If you are in need of a little help - there is a walkthrough on www.gamefaqs.com by Lluan Frota.

Fun Factor: Satisfying and challenging puzzles
Female Factor: I chose to view Kai as a girl.
