SpongeBob's Atlantis Squarepantis - Review

SpongeBob's Atlantis Squarepantis - GBA
Ages: Everyone

Probably the easiest of the Nicktoon/SpongeBob titles out this season. With your buddy Patrick you need to collect the coins to piece together the Antlantian coin. There's mostly jumping – no double jumps this timem, and our heroes take turns depending upon their skills. This version still needs more saves and lives – going back to the beginning of the level is punishment for the player – and we don't need that. Otherwise it's a pleasant side scroller, nice background detail, three worlds to jump through. The start button will skip the cut scenes – thankfully since players will be going back and forth.

Fun Factor: Nice GBA side scroller.
Player Friendly: Saves only at end of long levels is disastrous.
